Bicyclist killed by hit-and-run driver in early-morning Chandler collision

CHANDLER, AZ – A bicyclist was hit and killed in Chandler early this morning by a driver who fled the scene of the crash, according to CBS 5 News.

The collision occurred near the intersection of Galveston Street and Alma School Road, north of Chandler Boulevard, at about 2:30 a.m.

A bicyclist riding down the street was struck by a driver who then fled, leaving them for dead.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and there they succumbed to their injuries and died.
