CHANDLER, AZ – A collision at an intersection in Chandler led to traffic delays and road closures for multiple hours yesterday, according to the Chandler Police Department.

The crash happened near the intersection of Ray Road and Arizona Avenue at about 1:15 p.m.
Authorities blocked the eastbound lanes of Ray Rd in response to the crash.
Drivers were asked to use Chandler Boulevard or Warner Road as a detour.
By 6:39 p.m., the roadway was cleared.
It is unclear at this point what led to the collision or if anyone was hurt as a result.
