CHANDLER, AZ – One person has died after a single-vehicle crash on Arizona 202 early Tuesday morning.
According to ABC 15, the fatal crash took place on AZ 202 at the I-10 junction around 3:15 AM on March 15th.
A Toyota Avalon reportedly crashed into the barrier near the freeway on-ramp. The vehicle burst into flames on impact.
The driver unfortunately died at the scene. The victim has yet to be identified.
Officials state that excessive speed likely contributed to the crash. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the fatal crash.
