GILBERT, AZ – According to FOX10 Phoenix, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a train in Gilbert on Thursday.

The crash was reported along Williams Field Road between Higley Road and Recker Road. Authorities say a pedestrian was fatally struck by a passing train, which caused both directions on Williams Field to be temporarily closed for investigation.
