GILBERT, AZ – Authorities responded to a crash causing traffic delays and closures in the Val Vista Lakes area in Gilbert this weekend, according to the Gilbert Police Department.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Guadalupe Road at about 10 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities closed the intersection in all directions as they investigated the crash.
By 10:32 a.m., southbound lanes of traffic were open again, and by 1:36 p.m., the roadway was cleared.
There were no details available regarding the cause of the crash or possible injuries.
