GLENDALE, AZ – One person is dead following a single-vehicle collision near the Glendale and Peoria city lines this weekend, according to CBS 5 News.
The crash happened in southbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway, near Olive Avenue, at about 1 p.m. Saturday, and involved a van that crashed and overturned.
One person who was not immediately identified died as a result of the crash.
The collision led authorities to block multiple southbound lanes of traffic for a few hours. By 4 p.m., the crash had been cleared from the highway.
