Man dead after crashing head-on with semi-truck on Loop 101

GLENDALE, AZ – A 35-year-old man was killed in a wrong-way crash with a semi-truck on Loop 101 in Glendale early yesterday morning, according to information from FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash occurred on northbound Loop 101 near Cardinals Way at around 1:30 a.m., as the 35-year-old driver of a white sedan was driving southbound, against the flow of traffic. He then crashed into a semi-truck head-on.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead after the collision.

Authorities believe he may have been under the influence when the accident occurred.

No details are available on the condition of the truck driver.
