Pedestrian critically injured after being hit by driver at Glendale intersection

GLENDALE, AZ – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a driver in Glendale this weekend, according to CBS 5 News.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Camelback Road and 51st Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when a man was crossing Camelback in the area of the crosswalk.

The victim was then struck by the driver of a silver sedan. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries.

Their current condition was not available.

The driver remained at the scene after the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
