PEORIA, AZ – A motorcyclist was killed during a collision with an SUV in Peoria earlier this week, according to CBS 5 News.
The accident occurred near the intersection of 87th Avenue and Olive Avenue at about 5:45 p.m. Monday night, as the driver of a grey SUV made a left turn.
The SUV collided with 50-year-old motorcyclist Kevin Surratt, a resident of Phoenix, who was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
The SUV driver, who remained at the scene, sustained minor injuries which were treated at the scene of the accident.
Authorities do not believe that intoxicated driving played a role in the collision, which continues to be investigated at this time.
