Two women killed in Glendale suspected DUI car crash

GLENDALE, AZ – Two women died in what police suspect was a crash caused by a DUI on Thursday, Aug. 12.

According to Independent Newsmedia, the two victims have been identified as 54-year-old Sharri Wood and 72-year-old Sandra Kay Williams. Police have identified Bushiri Kibukila, 44, as the suspect of DUI.

The crash happened on the 5800 block of West Camelback Road around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Wood died at the scene, and Williams died later at a hospital.

Police believe Wood and Williams attempted to turn left onto a private drive and collided with Kibukila’s vehicle. Kibukila stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Kibukila has been charged with DUI.
