MARICOPA, AZ – A crash turned fatal when two drivers sped in the area of Honeycutt Road and North Gunsmoke Road, and one of them lost control of their vehicle, leading to a collision with another car Sunday. The collision took place around 8:30 p.m. The force of this crash led one of the speeding drivers – a 25-year-old man whose name was not released – to be thrown from his vehicle and suffer fatal injuries. The second speeding driver was taken into custody and may face pending charges. The other person involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.
