2 people dead following alleged DUI crash in Mesa involving 4 vehicles

MESA, AZ – Two people were killed in an alleged DUI crash in Mesa early Saturday morning that involved four vehicles, including a van and a motorcycle.

According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the collision occurred on Highway 60 eastbound and Country Club Drive at about 1:30 a.m.

27-year-old Bryan Badillo was allegedly driving under the influence when he collided with another vehicle. A motorcycle crashed into another vehicle, causing its 48-year-old operator to be ejected from the bike. The driver of a van also crashed into the concrete median wall after losing control of his vehicle.

The van’s 60-year-old driver died at the scene.

The motorcyclist also died in the crash.

Badillo was taken to the Maricopa County Jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter.
