MESA, AZ – A driver died Thursday after running a red light on Loop 202 and Broadway Rd, causing them to crash into another car and a barrier.
According to AZFamily, the crash happened around 7 a.m. on Sept. 9. The driver of a Kia Soul ran a red light and crashed into a BMW heading north on Loop 202. The Kia then crashed into a concrete barrier. The Kia driver died at the scene.
The driver of the BMW was not injured.
Police are investigating but don’t believe the driver of the Kia was impaired.
