Narrative

GOLDEN VALLEY, AZ – A 60-year-old man died when he struck another car at the Chino Drive & Colorado Road junction and also caused power poles to come down. This fatal wreck was reported around 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The man – Bert Wilhelm Simons – was thrown from his car and was pronounced dead a short time later. There has been no word on what exactly led to this collision, nor have Mohave County deputies indicated the condition of the other driver. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
