PEORIA, AZ – ABC15 News reports that a 13-year-old was seriously injured after being struck by a driver in Peoria on Thursday morning.

Authorities say the accident took place around 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of 98th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, where the victim was found after being struck by a vehicle.

The 13-year-old sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He currently remains in critical condition.
