PHOENIX, AZ – A woman was killed and another was severely injured in a crash involving an allegedly intoxicated driver in North Phoenix this weekend, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
The crash occurred near the intersection of W Dunlap Avenue and N 31st Avenue at about 9 a.m. Sunday, after a teenage boy driving an SUV reportedly lost control of the vehicle. He then swerved off the side of the road and crashed into a wall.
One of the passengers inside the vehicle was pronounced dead following the crash.
A second passenger was taken to the hospital for the treatment of critical, severe injuries.
Authorities believe the teen driver was under the influence when the accident occurred.
