PHOENIX, AZ – A 15-year-old girl died after being involved in a car accident on Camelback Road this weekend, according to information from FOX 10 Phoenix.
The crash happened near the intersection of N 7th Avenue and Camelback Rd at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, when a driver headed southbound made a left turn onto 7th Avenue. He then crashed into a driver headed northbound on Camelback.
The driver of the northbound vehicle suffered severe injuries in the accident.
His passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The occupants of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
