2 adults in critical condition, teen injured in Loop 101 multi-vehicle crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Three people, including a 15-year-old girl, were injured during a multi-vehicle collision on the Loop 101 Freeway in Phoenix this weekend.

According to KTAR News, the crash occurred near Thomas Road and I-10 at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday evening, when multiple vehicles collided.

Seven people were affected as a result of the accident.

Of those, a 58-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man sustained severe, life-threatening injuries, and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A 15-year-old girl was brought to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical wounds.

Authorities closed a portion of the roadway for about an hour and a half as they worked on the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
