PHOENIX, AZ – A 4-year-old boy died when the vehicle he was in lost control and crashed into a tree near 67th Avenue and Highland Avenue on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
According to abc15, a man was driving a Chevrolet Corvette south on 67th Avenue. A woman was in the passenger seat, holding the boy on her lap. The driver lost control and crashed into a tree. The two adults had to be cut out of the vehicle. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Police believe speed was a factor in the crash, but are investigating.
