63-year-old man dies in multi-car accident in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – A 63-year-old man died in a crash Tuesday that happened at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.

According to LA Weekly, the victim has been identified as Donald Beam. Beam died from his injuries at a local hospital.

The driver of a Honda Civic lost control and slammed into another car, causing a chain reaction crash. Five vehicles were involved in the accident.

The driver of the Honda is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating.
