As a result, the driver crashed into the driver of Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 3 also hit the driver of Traffic Unit 1. The three occupants of Traffic Unit 3 were hospitalized. One is in stable condition, while two women – 57 and 32 – were critically injured. The drivers of Traffic Units 1 and 2 were killed at the scene. DPS is investigating if impairment was a contributing factor in Sunday’s fatal collision.
