Narrative

PHOENIX, AZ – A person who ran across I-10 East passed away after they were hit by a vehicle Sunday. 

This collision happened before 4:30 a.m. “between 7th and 16th streets.” The driver remained at the scene. There have been no indications of citations or charges. 

Officials shut down the eastbound lanes and reopened them around 8 a.m. They started an investigation and have not yet released the name of the pedestrian.
