Narrative
PHOENIX, AZ – A driver of a car died after he traveled on southbound 16th Street, swerved into the northbound lanes, and collided head-on with a pickup truck after 4:30 a.m. Monday. The truck driver and passenger sustained minor injuries. The car driver, who was later identified as 34-year-old Goliath Cortez, was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
