Narrative

PHOENIX, AZ – A motorcyclist suffered critical, life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car at the 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road junction around 6 a.m. Wednesday. It is not exactly clear what led the two vehicles to crash and who had the right of way. However, officials did reveal that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. First responders did not say if the motorist was hurt but did indicate that their vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, as debris was seen scattered at the intersection. Initially, the source indicated the driver died, but has since corrected this factand confirmed the motorcyclist is recovering from their wounds inside a local hospital.
