PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person was killed in an accident in northeast Phoenix yesterday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The crash happened at the intersection of Tierra Buena Lane and 56th Street before 8 a.m.
PPD stated that at least one person died as a result of the crash.
Traffic was restricted near the scene, and drivers were asked to avoid the area and to use an alternate route.
The cause of the crash and the identity of the victim were not immediately available.
