Crash on Loop 101 in Phoenix closes HOV lane and causes delays

PHOENIX, AZ – A collision on Loop 101 caused lane closures this evening in Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (Arizona DOT).


The crash happened on northbound Loop 101 Price, near Apache and Broadway Rd, at about 5:20 p.m.

The collision caused the closure of the HOV lane for over 20 minutes.

It is unclear what led to the accident or if anyone was injured as a result.
