Driver of ATV dies in Phoenix crash on 16th Street and Osborn Road

PHOENIX, AZ – The driver of an ATV died in a collision with another vehicle on 16th Street and Osborn Road on Friday night, police say.

According to abc15, the victim was identified as 32-year-old Trenton Buckner. Buckner died of his injuries later at a hospital.

30-year-old Monique Newton was driving a sedan and turned left in front of the ATV, causing the crash. Newton stayed at the scene and showed signs of impairment. Police processed Newton for driving under the influence. It is not clear if Newton will be charged for Buckner’s death.
