Father and son severely injured in hit-and-run collision in S Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – A man and his 5-year-old son were severely injured by a hit-and-run driver in South Phoenix on Friday morning, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash happened on Broadway Road and 24th Street, when the driver of a gray Honda Civic crashed into a father and son walking near the roadway. The man was able to push his son out of the way before he was hit.

The driver then fled the scene.

The father and son sustained serious, life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Authorities are asking those with any information on the accident to leave an anonymous tip at 480-WITNESS, or 480-TESTIGO, for Spanish.
