Infant, toddler, and 4 other people hospitalized after crash in W Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Six people, including a 9-month-old and a 2-year-old boy, were hospitalized as a result of a two-vehicle crash in west Phoenix this weekend, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash happened near the 4000 block of Van Buren, near 40th Avenue, at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, and appears to have involved a silver sedan and a silver SUV that collided head-on.

One male and one female victim, both in their 20s, were brought to the hospital with critical, severe injuries.

A 9-month-old boy, a 2-year-old boy, and two women, also both in their 20s, were hospitalized with non-critical wounds.

The accident remains under investigation.
