Man hit and killed by work truck after crash on Cave Creek Rd and Dynamite Blvd

PHOENIX, AZ – A worker was killed and another person was seriously injured after a driver crashed into a company truck, causing it to hit the pedestrian victim in a crash on Cave Creek Road on Wednesday afternoon.

According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the crash occurred near the intersection of Dynamite Boulevard and Cave Creek Rd at about 2 p.m.

A worker was standing behind a work truck parked in the median and surrounded by traffic cones when the vehicle was hit by the driver of a silver SUV. The impact sent the truck crashing into the pedestrian.

The worker died at the scene.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The family of the deceased victim has started a GoFundMe to help raise money for funeral expenses.
