Man, woman killed in west Phoenix motorcycle crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Two people died in a motorcycle crash in west Phoenix at the intersection of 39th Avenue and Camelback Road on Saturday night.

According to 12News, the victims were identified as Shawn Stokes, 30, and his passenger Diana Fletes, 46.

Police believe Stokes, who was driving the motorcycle, was speeding and collided with another vehicle on Camelback Rd.

The occupants of the other vehicle did not sustain major injuries. Stokes and Fletes died at the scene.
