PHOENIX, AZ – Multiple people were injured as a result of a crash near I-17 in the Anthem neighborhood this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation and KPHO.

The collision occurred on northbound I-17, near Anthem Way, at about 10:20 a.m. Sunday, when multiple vehicles collided.
While the exact details of the crash were not available, multiple people were reported as having been taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities closed all lanes of the highway as they worked the crash.
The accident was cleared from the interstate a little over two hours later, at about 12:40 p.m.
