NEW RIVER, AZ (MARICOPA COUNTY) – One person was killed and another two were injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-17 early Thursday, according to CBS 5.
The crash happened on northbound I-17, near Circle Mountain Road at about 4 a.m., when a vehicle crashed and overturned onto its roof in the access road.
One person died at the scene.
Another person was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening wounds.
The driver sustained non-critical injuries in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
