One killed in wrong-way crash on I-10

PHOENIX, AZ – One person has died after a wrong-way collision on I-10 early Wednesday morning.

According to FOX 10, the fatal crash occurred on I-10 near U.S. 60 on March 9th.

The victim was reportedly traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when they collided with another vehicle. 

The driver of the vehicle traveling the wrong way died at the scene. Their identity is currently unknown.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle that was struck only suffered minor injuries.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is currently investigating whether impairment played a role in the crash.
