PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver on Bell Road last night, according to information from CBS 5 News.
The crash happened on Bell Road and 21st Avenue at about 7 p.m., when the victim, who was not immediately identified, was reportedly walking near the roadway. He was then struck by a driver.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the crash site after the collision and has cooperated with the investigation.
Authorities do not believe the victim was in a crosswalk when the crash happened, but their investigation continues at this time.
