PHOENIX, AZ – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on I-17 in Phoenix early yesterday morning, according to CBS 5 News.
The crash happened on southbound I-17 near Bethany Home Road at about 5:30 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a driver.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead after the collision.
Authorities closed the southbound ramp and the right traffic lanes as they investigated the accident. Their efforts continue at this time.
