Pedestrian severely injured during accident at N Phoenix intersection

PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle in north Phoenix this weekend, according to KPHO.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Cactus Road and 40th Street on Saturday night, when a pedestrian, who has yet to be publicly identified, was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were described as extremely critical. Their current condition was not immediately available.

The driver, who reportedly remained at the scene after the accident and has cooperated with the investigation, was not reported as injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
