PHOENIX, AZ – A rush-hour collision on State Highway 51 led to lane closures and traffic delays in Phoenix yesterday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on northbound SH-51, near McDowell Road, at about 5:05 p.m., and appears to have involved multiple vehicles.
The crash led to closures of the HOV and left lanes of SH-51 as authorities worked the accident.
