SCOTTSDALE, AZ – One person died in an accident on Loop 101 near Hayden Road on Sunday night, police say.
According to abc15, police are still investigating the cause of the crash. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Police said a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle were stopped on the left shoulder of the highway when another car ran into them. One of the vehicles caught fire because of the crash.
Part of the highway was closed while police investigated.
