Man pinned between vehicles and hospitalized after crash that injured 2 in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ – Two people were hospitalized after a driver crashed into a parked car and pinned a man between the two vehicles in Tempe on Tuesday, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The collision happened near S McClintock Drive and E Warner Road as the elderly driver of a gold sedan was pulling out of a drive-through. His vehicle suddenly accelerated, then crashed into a parked vehicle nearby.

The driver of the parked vehicle had just gotten out of his car and was briefly pinned between his car and a pickup truck nearby.

The elderly driver’s vehicle continued until it crashed into a nearby wall.

The pinned driver and one of his passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
