Narrative
TEMPE, AZ – A wrong-way driver died Sunday in a two-vehicle crash along a highway ramp in Tempe.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on the westbound ramp from US-60 to I-10. This is just north of Legoland Discovery Center Arizona.
Police say that an eastbound driver entered the westbound ramp and crashed head-on into a second vehicle. The collision killed the wrong-way driver at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released their name to the public.
Medics transported at least one other person from the other vehicle to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
