Pedestrian struck and killed by hit-and-run driver in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ – A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver in a collision in Tempe early Friday morning, according to CBS 5 News.

The crash occurred on Curry Road and McClintock Drive, near Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway, at around 5 a.m.

A pedestrian, who was identified only as a Hispanic man in his 20s, was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead after the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and to look for the suspect.
