Six people injured after driver runs red light on Kyrene and Baseline Rds

TEMPE, AZ – Six people were sent to the hospital after a driver allegedly ran a red light in Tempe late Thursday evening, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash occurred near Kyrene Road and Baseline Road after the driver of a northbound vehicle failed to stop at a red light, then crashed into a truck parked at a nearby service station.

All six occupants of the truck were hurt, with some injuries possibly life-threatening in nature.

Authorities believe that speed may have played a role in the crash. Their investigation continues at this time.
