Teen girl injured in Tempe pedestrian-car crash

TEMPE, AZ – A 14-year-old girl sustained minor injuries Monday after being involved in a pedestrian-car crash, police say.

The incident happened at the intersection of College Avenue and Continental Drive. Police did not clarify whether the teen was in the car or was the pedestrian.

The girl was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Police told 12News that impairment is not a factor.
