Two children and driver hospitalized after hit-and-run crash on Hwy 60

TEMPE, AZ – A driver and two children were hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash on Highway 60 in Tempe this weekend, according to information from CBS 5 News.

The crash occurred on U.S. 60 near McClintock Drive before 9 p.m. Sunday, and appears to have involved two vehicles. One of those vehicles crashed into a median wall, then caught fire. The other driver fled the scene.

The driver and two children were rescued from the burning vehicle, and then were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
