1 killed, multiple injured in speed-related crash in W Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A 24-year-old man is dead, and multiple people were hospitalized following a possibly speed-related crash in west Tucson this weekend, according to Tucson.com.

The collision happened near the intersection of N Romero Road and W Prince Road at about 1 p.m. Sunday, when the driver of a white Ford truck failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn.

The Ford then collided with a black Jeep which may have been traveling at a high rate of speed.

24-year-old Dennis Edward Agnew, a passenger in the Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers and at least one other person in the Ford were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Authorities do not believe that either driver was under the influence at this time. They continue to investigate the collision.
