MARANA, AZ – An 83-year-old man was killed as a result of a multi-vehicle accident northwest of Tucson earlier this week, according to KOLD News 13.
The collision occurred on Sandario Road, near Snyder Hill Road, at about 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, as several vehicles were trailing behind a crew of painters marking traffic lines.
The driver of a Toyota pickup truck, 83-year-old Harris Willar, collided with the back of a Dodge pickup truck. The Dodge then crashed into a Volkswagen sedan.
Willar died at the scene.
Non-critical injuries were reported during the crash.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
