Narrative

TUCSON, AZ – A 76-year-old woman suffered minor injuries, and a 73-year-old man lost his life and after he crashed his car into a tree upon suffering a possible medical episode. This collision occurred before 1:15 p.m.  Friday at the South Westover Avenue and West Vereda Azul intersection. The man, Terry Spivey, was pronounced dead at the scene. Spivey’s wife, Veta, was sent to a hospital for treatment. Speed or impairment were not contributing factors in this collision.
