TUCSON, AZ – At least one person was severely injured in a crash on Stone Avenue in western Tucson this morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The crash happened near the intersection of E Ft. Lowell Road and N. Stone Avenue at around 11:20 a.m., when two vehicles collided.
At least one person suffered serious wounds in the crash.
Drivers were told to avoid the area, as the intersection was shut down in all directions in the meanwhile.
The crash remains under investigation.
