TUCSON, AZ – At least one person was severely injured in a crash on Golf Links Road in Tucson this afternoon, according to information from the Tucson Police Department.

The crash happened on E Golf Links Rd and S Pantano Road at around 2 p.m., when two vehicles collided.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the crash.
The cause of the accident was not immediately released.
Authorities closed the intersection as they investigated the crash. Drivers were told to avoid the crash scene and to use an alternate travel route.
